David will star in 'DAVID GEST… MY LIFE! A MUSICAL CONCERT EXTRAVAGANZA,' a new play/concert which will begin touring the UK on 03 October 2008. Performing live on the show are nine legendary acts including: Russell Thompkins, Jr. & The New Stylistics (Thompkins was the original lead singer of all the Stylistics classic tunes), Shalamar, Coolio, Dawn Robinson of En Vogue, Peabo Bryson, Ashford & Simpson,
Billy Paul, Freda Payne and Very Special Guest Star Peter Andre.
The play encompasses the story of David's life with comedy and music. It includes over twenty top 5 records, all performed by the original artists. In addition to that, there will be David's characters he made famous in the jungle when he appeared on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! David will also be singing and dancing in numbers choreographed by Emmy nominee Brian Thomas who choreographed the 'Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration'
